Refer a new family · $100 tuition credit
For each successfully referred family, after the referred student completes 8 lessons in good standing.
The new family receives 10% off first-term tuition for each child and subject enrolled.
- One $100 credit per family, even if they enrol more than one child or subject.
- Ask them to enter your full name at registration. Your child’s name or your email address helps us identify you.
- Your credit is applied in the next billing cycle after the qualifying period.

A few things to know
Who can I refer?
Parent referral: a family new to Perceptum, with no enrolment or contact with us within the past 12 months. Self-referrals and immediate family members living in your household do not qualify.
Student referral: a student new to Perceptum Secondary / JC, with no enrolment or active contact within the past 12 months. Current students renewing their enrolment do not qualify.
Referrers must be current Perceptum parents or, for Student Referral, current Secondary / JC students, with accounts in good standing. Staff cannot participate as referrers.
What details should my friend enter?
Parent Referral: your full name. Your email address, phone number or child’s name can also help us match the referral correctly.
Student Referral: your full name, mobile number and school. These must be entered at sign-up; student referral claims cannot be added retrospectively.
We verify referrals and may contact the people involved. If more than one referrer is named, the first recorded parent entry or first valid student entry applies.
What if the new family enrols more than one child or subject?
Parent Referral: you receive one $100 credit for the family. Their first-term 10% discount applies to each child and subject enrolled.
Student Referral: each new Secondary / JC student counts as one referral. Taking two subjects does not count as two referrals. The 10% discount applies to each Secondary / JC subject enrolled at sign-up.
When does my referral qualify?
The referred student must complete one term of 8 lessons in good standing. Student referral fees must be current, with no arrears; trial-only or make-up-only packages do not qualify.
If the student withdraws or is dismissed before completing the qualifying period, the referral does not qualify. Any tuition credit already issued may be reversed.
For parent referrals, we notify you by email and apply the credit in the next billing cycle after the qualifying period. For student referrals, rewards are processed within 21 days after the referred student completes their eighth lesson, provided fees are up to date and all referral requirements have been met.
Can the discount be combined with other offers?
The parent referral discount cannot be combined with other promotional offers unless explicitly stated. The student referral discount cannot be combined with other promotions. Parent and student referral rewards cannot be combined for the same referral.
Do parent tuition credits expire?
Yes. Use them within one year of the award date. Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
There is no cap on the number of families you may refer, but total credits cannot exceed your annual tuition amount.
Programme terms
The eligibility, registration and reward conditions above form part of these terms.
Parent Referral: additional conditions
- The programme applies to eligible referrals made on or after 1 October 2024. Earlier referrals do not qualify.
- The referred student must remain enrolled and in good standing for at least 8 lessons from their enrolment date. Withdrawal or dismissal before paying the first term’s tuition, failure to complete the qualifying period, or a breach of programme terms means no reward is due.
- Credits are $100 per referred family, issued after the qualifying period and applied in the next billing cycle. Credits expire one year after issue, are non-transferable and have no cash value. Total credits cannot exceed the referrer’s annual tuition amount.
- Perceptum confirms qualifying referrals by email. Detailed information about the referred family may not be shared for privacy reasons.
- Perceptum may modify or end the parent programme with prior notice, communicated by email and on the website.
Student Referral: additional conditions
- The programme is for current Secondary / JC students in good standing who refer eligible new Secondary / JC students. Current students renewing for another academic year are excluded.
- Full name, mobile number and school must be entered at sign-up. No retrospective claims or changes after submission are allowed. The first valid entry on the form applies.
- The annual limit is 12 successful referrals per academic year per student. Each referred student counts once.
- Rewards will be processed within 21 days after the referred student completes their eighth lesson, provided fees are up to date and all referral requirements have been met.
- “Equivalent” means a comparable product or a tuition-credit alternative pegged to prevailing local recommended retail price at issuance. Perceptum determines final equivalence, models, colours and substitutions based on availability.
- Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Manufacturer warranties follow the retailer’s or manufacturer’s terms.
- If a referred student withdraws or is dismissed before completing 8 lessons, the referral is void and any tuition-credit alternative already issued may be reversed.
- No spamming, canvassing, misrepresentation or side incentives. Violations void eligibility. Perceptum may decline, suspend or revoke rewards for suspected abuse or non-compliance.
- Parent or guardian consent is required for minors. Data is used solely to administer the programme in Singapore.
- The programme applies to eligible new friends now. Perceptum may modify or terminate it with notice on the website.
Verification, privacy and programme administration
Perceptum verifies referral details and may contact either party as needed. Personal information is used solely to administer the programme. Participation indicates agreement to these terms and consent to the use of names for verification. Information will not be shared without consent, in line with applicable privacy requirements.
Programme rules apply equally to participants. Fraudulent or unethical behaviour results in disqualification. Questions and disputes are handled by Perceptum’s administration, whose decisions on programme matters are final.
